Trend Crusher ScreenAutomatically seeks and finds the 50 best and 50 worst trends for New England using the "After" constraint by querying the entire database and sorts each trend by the "ATS win/loss" sort method.

Second screen finds the 50 best and 50 worst trends for Denver using the "When" constraint and also uses the "Beta Factor" sort method.

Beta Factor value measures the likelihood that an observed event would occur due only to chance. The larger the Beta Factor, the less likely it is that chance alone would cause an event to happen. Our software is programmed to automatically find the so called "statistically significant" trends with very high win/loss records where the probability is less then 5% that chance  would cause such an observed event to occur.

Strategy Picks Screen - Is a newly developed exclusive power feature in which you load a teams edited library saved in the Trend Crusher Screen. The trend library you saved and edited can either be the best or worst trends for a given team. By clicking on the "Apply Trends" button, each trend is analyzed to determine if it applies the team in the upcoming match-up. If the trend applies it will turn yellow, if not it will stay black indicating the trend does not apply and you can ignore it. You will notice Trends T1 thru T14 apply to New England. Now you can analyze all the meaningful trends that could influence a specific game.

Handicap Screen   - Handicapping games is a serious and time consuming venture, where guessing can be disastrous. You need accurate and timely information at your fingertips. Both College and Pro Football Prophet Zone are unparalleled as a handicapping tool. It utilizes the latest technology in prediction formulas you create to predict the winners ATS. Numerous formulas are included with Prophet Zone. Some have picked better than 80% ATS last season. Prophet Zone shows you in points the advantage of the winning team, based on the statistical strengths and weaknesses of the opposing team. In addition, the programs provide an approximation estimate of the total points that will be scored. By clicking on the summary box, the user can see how a particular formula fared SU, ATS and against Over/Under. There are drop down boxes for selecting both the # of team streaks and where the game was played, either home/away or overall.

Game Analysis Screen - displays a detailed tabular representation of how each team fared against each other in 10 statistical categories. This is based on the formula selected in the handicap screen.

Power Rating Screen - Power ratings are one of our special built in tools and weapons, which will quickly and easily identify team offensive and defensive mismatches, to give you that winning edge. Power ratings are purely objective and a deadly weapon in any handicapper's arsenal. No emotion or bias is involved. PR calculations must be very responsive or they become old news before you get a chance to use them. Our PR method allows us to judge pretty accurately the relative strengths of teams in any given sports event. PR's are an exceptional handicapping tool and should be utilized with many other handicapping tools such as trend, statistical and fundamental analysis. Our first step is to obtain a total Offensive/Defensive index using each teams, strength of opposition, (SOS). The newly added PR Weight Factor enables you to adjust the weight of each teams opponents in our PR calculation. We then logarithmically increment or front-load our PR's to reflect each teams recent performance. We use linear regression analysis to calculate and integrate all this information into an overall power rating. As we all know, during the course of a season, power ratings rise and fall. Hot and cold teams are identified Immediately. This is an essential piece of data for successful handicapping.

Formula Builder Screen- If experimenting with formulas is your desire, you will love creating, testing and saving unlimited ideas against our 10 year database, for one season, or as few as the most recent games. Then evaluate the formula's performance Vs the Vegas point spreads. In order to zoom in on creating stronger formulas, we have broken our point differentials into 1/2 points increments. By assign different weight combinations to 10 statistical categories, setting differential point limits and an overall formula factor, the program makes it very simple to fine tune and identify the best formula combinations to beat the Vegas point spreads for both side plays and totals.

To obtain the most value from our Prophet programs, create your own formulas. In addition, you will have the pleasure of handicapping with your own ideas. You simply assign a weight to each stat you want to use in making a prediction, click on the point differentials and select the number of games you want to use. You then save the formula when the sum of the weights equals 100%. The formula is now ready to be tested against our 10 year database.

Point differential screen - is one of the most powerful tools when making a selection on any given team. The left side of the screen provides information on the point differentials selected as part of your formula, whereas the right side of the screen breaks down the win/loss records into home/away favorites and dogs, ATS.

Match-Up Screen - Display's game win/loss records SU and ATS and includes average team stats of past performances. The user can determine how many games to use and where the game took place, either home/away or just overall.

Prophet Zone truly provides customizable sports content and illustrates how a given team (or an entire conference or league) has performed in categories that are relevant and valuable in making a logical and smart play. These trends quickly give you a good sense of the emotional psyches of certain teams and the motivating ability of their coaching. Prophet Zone will highlight the columns, which are in effect, and by viewing these win/loss records you will learn how a team has historically performed following certain outcomes. This valuable knowledge will help tell you how a team is likely to perform in the same situations. Unlike other software and sports content providers, Prophet Zone allows you to scan our 8 year database to obtain your own accurate Win/Loss records which can be hard copied (printed) or exported to your sports web site. We have broken down our trends and situations into numerous categories in which you determine which trends meet your highest priority. Many professional handicappers agree that the trend is their friend and finding the KEY TRENDS will help you become an extremely powerful handicapper.

Common Opponent Screen - provides in-depth information on every team that both opponents have faced over the past 7 years. This information reveals how each team has fared vs. these common opponents with respect to SU and ATS win/loss records and O/U's and the date they played on. The information can be used to compare how well teams performed statistically against common opponents and how they might affect the outcome of the match-ups at hand. You can also export this screen to your web site or hard copy it to a printer.

Offensive and Defensive Ranking Screen - summarizes by rank, the 12 statistical categories we found to be of the most importance, averaged per game based on the number of games you select to go back in time. On the left side of the screen you have control buttons for selecting the offensive category you want to view. Once clicking on an offensive category such as score, the program places each team in statistical order, based on a per game average, starting from the best team to the worst team in that category only. If you select rushing yards, each team will be ranked from best to worse in that category only.

On the right side of the screen you have buttons for selecting the defensive categories you want to view. By examining this grid, you obtain insight, as to how each team has fared in each category, for the number of games you select. You can view long and short term performances of each team and determine if a team has improved or progressively has gotten worse in any category.

The next screen provides the 3 best and 3 worst performing teams in each offensive and defensive category. You can go back in history and use any number of games to view how teams fared in the past Vs today's stats. Both screens can be exported to a web site or they can be hard copied.

Offensive and Defensive Margin Screen - With the click of a button you can quickly summarize in alphabetical order, or sort a teams best to worst stat in any of 12 statistical categories. The statistical data is further broken down into 2 tabbed screens, displaying values for margin of success for HF, HD, AF and AD.

The averages per game are based on the number of historical games you select to use. Historical games are any games that were played starting with the most recent prior to the date you are working with moving backwards in time.

Both screens can be exported to a web site or they can be hard copied from your printer.

Hot and Cold Screen - By selecting the number of games back and a starting date, this screen ranks teams in order, according to their ATS wins. Not only can teams be compared to other teams, but they can be compared to their own hot or cold streaks, by looking at past performance. Many other statistical data for both offense and defense is also displayed. Screens can be exported to a web site or they can be hard copied from your printer.

True Power Screen - Creates a mathematical model or true power rating which reveals, accurately, how the odds-maker expects each professional football team to perform every week, by assigning a Line or Spread. The odds-maker however does not take into account how the team actually performed Vs the Spread. Since NFL teams usually have a tendency to playback to the .500 level ATS, you can easily get a quick summary in what direction a team is heading in, by comparing their Expected and Actual power ratings Vs the Spread for both Home/Away and Overall. This is very important information, in that it can signal when a team is ready to turn directions and play better or worse. Screens can be exported to a web site or they can be hard copied from your printer.

Team Performance Screen - Is a significant feature in that it explores how teams perform against opponents in 24 different offensive and defensive categories and then ranks them against each team in the league. Each category is rated Good-Average-Poor and based on the number of games selected by the user. Win/loss records, ATS, of the opposing team, is then calculated to see how they performed against similar opponents in each category. Each row will display the name of the statistical category (score, score allowed) and etc, the ranking (Vs. the league), the profile rating (Good, Avg or Poor) and the opponents record ATS, when playing teams exhibiting such attributes. At the bottom of the screen, each team is awarded a performance value, profile spread percentage and an overall spread percentage.

The profile spread percentage when compared with the overall spread percentage gives you an immediate summary, in which you can determine if a team has performed better against this type of opponent exhibiting such attributes or Vs the league in general

The Performance Value is a numerical value to express the strength of a team against their opponent. There are good teams that do not play up to their potential when playing weak teams and vise versa. By looking at the Performance value you will be able to determine if this is the case for any team. The performance value can also be considered a power rating. The power rating can then be matched to the opposing team's power rating to determine who has the statistical advantage.
